Please help me find a belated Christmas gift

This past Christmas I got hung up on the idea of giving my brother a particular lamp that I saw many months before in a catalog from uncommongoods.com. The trouble is that they don't seem to stock it any more, I couldn't find the original catalog and now two months after Christmas I'm still looking for another store that stocks it. I only glimpsed it for a moment while I was l leafing through the catalog and I don't remember it well enough to describe it accurately, just well enough that I remember thinking "that would make a great gift".

The best description I can come up with is a "blue male table lamp". The lamp has a blue shade, a pair of metal feet for a base and something approximating a pair of testicles hanging out from underneath the shade. (This description makes it sound a little weird but it's actually a pretty funky looking lamp).

I emailed the staff at UncommonGoods.com the same description I gave above and asked them if they could tell me where I could get one but I clearly didn't do a very good job describing it as they had no idea what I was talking about. I've tried Google but search terms like "blue male lamp" really don't get me very far.

I appreciate that this is a long shot, but does anyone own a lamp that fits this description ? If you do, please let me know where you got it.

The Wayback Machine tells me that you are looking for an "Adam Lamp." Try emailing them again with that information, perhaps?

For what it's worth, I think your description was spot on and the staff at uncommon goods should have been more responsive.
