I'm putting together a care package for a friend of mine who just bought her first condo, and I'd like to include some music. My mixtape muse has fled, and I need suggestions for songs about real estate, houses, condos, mortgages - you know, the usual stuff of melodic inspiration.

Jeremy Bloomfield of Universal Donor has a great track called "House Into A Home".

Second The Pogues "The Sunnyside of the Street".

TMBG's "Birdhouse in Your Soul" has a sort of domestic feel to it, to me anyway, and "They'll Need A Crane" mentions "the house he built for her".

Oh, and perfect for condo living - Modest Mouse "Paper Thin Walls"!
