Good bars in Philly for watching midterm results?

I'm looking for a bar in Philadelphia to watch midterm results tomorrow. Criteria: not too loud/boisterous, will be guaranteed to have midterm coverage on, no Republicans (it's Philly so pretty safe on this one but you never know.) I'm in South Philly so someplace local would be ideal but will travel (via public transit) if necessary. Any tips for me? I haven't had much luck searching online. Thanks in advance!

Best answer: Hi! I live in South Philly and I'm pretty connected (to organizers and local politicians), but weirdly a lot of the watch events I see are NOT in South Philly. For example:

This event hosted by Philly Moving Forward.
And this event hosted by the Philadelphia Young Democrats and Rep. Jordan Harris.

I'm pumping my network now to see if there is anything in proper SP.

PS - Message me if you don't have FB or if you just want to connect. SP represent!

I'll probably be at Fountain Porter, and while it's reasonable to expect that they'll have election results on, it won't be a "watch event" sort of situation.

Are you a member of thr South Silly facebook page? It's active and has lots of members. Someone should have suggestions. Doing a general facebook search foe this type of even could yield results too.

There actually are pockets of repubs in south philly btw... Depending which part you're in.

Best answer: I just noticed that Love City Brewery is having an election night party/event called MPF Election Night Blowout. Not South Philly, obviously, but super easy to get to via the Broad Street line or the 45. Here's the Facebook event for it, or if you don't Facebook, you can look it up on EventBrite.

Perhaps anything with "blowout" in the name is more boisterious than what you seek, but you'll definitely be among Dems -- it's hosted by Moving Forward Philly (in conjunction with several other liberal groups) and emcee'd by Brian Sims and Rebecca Rhynhart.
