Body scrub without the full spa day?

I’d like to get a Korean body scrub, but don’t want to spend all day at a spa. Are there any places in NYC or Long Island that offer body scrubs completely a la carte?

Tribeca Tranquility Day Spa. There used to be Yi Pak on 32nd and then it changed to Zen Spa on 5th but I'm not sure if either of them are still there (Yi Pak definitely not).

Response by poster: Ha! That’s more expensive than the day spa fee + scrub! Ah well, guess I’m going to Spa Castle after all.

Are you specifically looking to have someone scrub you down, or do you just want to exfoliate in an extremely efficient manner? You can buy your own Korean-style 'Italy towels' and have the satisfaction of seeing all those disgusting bits of dead skin in the comfort of your own tub! I recommend the long towels over the mitts, because it's easier to scrub your own back and you can ball them up to get the right balance of surface area/pressure for maximum skin rolls.
