How to display a video on repeat on an ipad 2?

I have a trade show coming up, and want to display a looped video on repeat to demonstrate or product. No sound, just video. A friend lent me their old Ipad 2 for that purpose.

I have the video file in .mov but can also export it in other formats from Premiere if needed. What's the best way to play the video on repeat, full screen, and even better if the screen is locked so people won't be touching it and messing with the controls. I built a wall frame for it that covers the home button and the side buttons. I can purchase and install new apps on it if necessary, but they'd need to be compatible with the older OS, free apps are even better.
Thanks!

Best answer: It been a while since I used any of them, but the search term you’re looking for on the App Store is ‘kiosk’ - there are a lot of apps that will do video etc. Guided Mode in the iPad settings will also allow you to lock users out of other apps.

Best answer: VLC is free, will play just about any format and has loop-one and loop-playlist modes.

If your wall frame has a piece of window glass between the iPad and the outside world, that should keep fingers far enough away from the touchscreen that they can't do anything.

Guided Access can also disable the touch screen completely, so if you've already built a frame that covers the Home button and you don't want to retrofit a glass pane to it, you could just use that.
