more tingles than Chuck

What are your all-time, best-ever, most effective ASMR videos?

Show me the videos that send shivers down your spine! I'm less interested in links to creator channels, because a lot of times you have to go deep in the playlist to find that truly special role-play of a North Pole elf quietly chastising you for being tardy for Christmas. Or whatever. Non-bizarro videos appreciated too. Thanks in advance!

Best answer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w_P723zom9w is one of my all time favorites. Definitely at least give the second half a try.

Are there any particular triggers that you're looking for, or want to avoid?

I really like the weird role plays like Maria's ASMR 👽 Alien to Human Makeover but I'm also a big fan of the unintentional stuff, like this early morning walk on the Big Island near the recent lava flows, with the frogs chirping and the matter-of-fact narration.

Best answer: Breaking this down into rough categories for the triggers that work on me...

Calm vocals:
Melissa LaMunyon at Psychetruth has gotten really good at an even-and-low tone, not hissy-whispery. (I feel it's also worth seeking out her Psychetruth videos on Amazon Prime, although most of them are no longer free.)

Meera Hoffman of Psychetruth also narrates many videos in a calm manner, less ASMR-triggering for me, but definitely helpful as background for changing your focus.

Gwen Swinarton is less often effective for me, but these two videos I find calming and tingly when I need them: Sleep Clinic and Spa Facial

Calm vocals and pure object tones:
Dimitri at MassageASMR has a Tibetan Singing Bowls ASMR meditation video that I find very useful.

Motor noises:
Loki Tv has a snow blower video I recommend.

Ambience on YouTube has a couple different vacuum cleaner videos that work for me, but all in all this one is the most reliable and longest.

And Randall's Rest and Relaxation has an eight-hour lawn mower loop that has gotten me through multiple workdays (thanks to headphones).

Best answer: Does hair brushing and hair play give you tingles? I am obsessed with these Paul Mitchell WashHouse Tee Tree Experience videos. The guy's voice isn't particularly ASMR-inducing, but the hair washing is awesome. I particularly like Title5, Title3, Title7. I'm a woman and I personally only like videos where the "recipient" of the hair play is a woman, but if you're a man and only like videos of men's hair being washed/palyed with, search "Paul Mitchell Washhouse" and there are male videos.

Other hair play videos I love:
Emma Whispersred hair play and whispering
GalaxyDreaming Scalp Massage
Gentle Whispers hair play and shoulder massage
PsycheTruth hair play and face massage - Corrina and Corey
Love Today ASMR facial with hair play
Trigger the Tingles face and ear massage
Trigger the Tingles hair play no talking

I'm not as into scratching and tapping any more, but Made in France ASMR has some good videos, such as Tapping and Scratching French Whispering.

Best answer: Latte's ASMR Cozy Sleep Clinic Everything Latte does is fantastic, but that one is my favorite. They're all so long and the quality is so good. And she creates little sets that really set the mood for each of her videos.

Phoenician Sailor's Barber ASMR All of his videos tell a story and are kind of strange in the best way.

Best answer: This is what happens when Ikea makes a viral ASMR vid: Oddly Ikea. Yes, it's an ad. Yes, it's kind of odd. And yes, it's also a darn good ASMR vid on its own terms! Low-key but lovely.

Best answer: My biggest triggers are soft-spoken roleplays and non-American accents, and I kinda love "old school" vids done on lower-quality equipment. A few of my lesser-known favorites:

Shop-Roleplay ASMR: AnnabellASMR has a lot of similar roleplays, craft vids, etc. She's Swedish, and one of my triggers is when someone who isn't a native English speaker has to search for an English word.

ASMR - Gifts from the Yule Lads: Elizabeth ASMR describes Icelandic Christmas traditions and shows some presents for her daughter. I adore her accent, and the traditions are dark and wonderful. (A black Christmas Cat that eats children who don't get clothes for Christmas? SIGN ME UP.)

Relaxing ASMR childish rp: Ariel ASMR's "childish" videos remind me of being a kid and watching a friend really concentrate on something.

Great, now it's not even 1:00 in the afternoon yet and now I need a nap.

Best answer: Goodnight Moon's Babblebrook Series has a whole plotline going, with witches and dragons; you can meet most of the major characters in the 2-hour All Hallow's Eve Festival video.

Best answer: Peaceful Cuisine no talking, just cooking sounds. Downside is that one's hunger is also triggered.
