Help me find a replacement for Movie Maintenance

I loved the podcast Movie Maintenance and am pretty sad that it's ending. I first learned of it through an AskMeFi thread and so I'm turning to y'all for potential replacements. What are some other podcasts that might scratch the same itch for me?

So, yes, I did appreciate the focus on films. I especially loved the aspect of rewriting/revisioning movie plots. So I'm interested in podcasts that are similar in those ways, but those don't feel like the most essential facets of Movie Madness to me.

What I would say feels most essential is: 1) content largely or entirely divorced the steady gloom and doom of the news/contemporary politics, 2) a conversational, multi-person style that feels friendly and engaging, 3) not exclusively male speakers (or at least not all the time), and 4) some connection with creativity and the arts.

So, in sum, I'm looking for both podcasts about movies and podcasts that might fill the role that Movie Maintenance did in a fuzzier or more essential way.

I'm a bit obsessed with the Blank Check (with Griffin and David). It's a movie podcast that focuses on one director at a time. And it's very funny, at least it is to me. The hosts are two white males, but they are aware of this as a limitation, and there are frequent guests.

Pop Culture Happy Hour from NPR featuring Metafilter's own Linda Holmes is a biweekly 20-30 minute discussion about primarily current pop culture products; eg the most recent episode was about the new Jurassic World movie as well as the original and its legacy. It's a panel of four usually with the same core 3 people (one woman, two men, all white, one gay) and a rotating 4th chair.

They will mention politics-adjacent topics in ways that are appropriate focussing more on representation, for instance if talking about Black Panther, but don't talk about politics in general.

They have a pretty positive attitude in general; they don't talk about things they hate, rather what's making them happy. I sometimes save up episodes for if I'm having a bad day.

Possibly Switchblade Sisters?

I don't know Movie Madness, but How Did This Get Made ticks all your boxes and is stupidly funny, whether or not you've seen the movie they are discussing. I'm not sure I've ever seen the movie beforehand but some of their discussions are funny enough to make me seek out and watch with glee some objectively awful ones.

See also long-running bad movie podcast The Flop House -- It's hosted by a pair of Daily Show writers (one former, one current) and their affable bartender pal. All three are straight white men, but they do make an effort to keep the show inclusive and not too edgy, and they often have diverse guest hosts which helps round out their perspective. The primary focus is on current film flops, but every now and then they do an episode on a older films selected by a listener or guest host.

One of the things I like about the show is their easygoing critical approach, which is inclined towards meeting "bad" movies halfway and trying to find the kernels of quality amidst the dreck. The banter and frequent off-topic tangents (which sometimes inspire amazing fan animations!) are also highly enjoyable.

(Also, I see that Switchblade Sisters' host April Wolfe is the guest host on this week's Flop House episode, so count that as a double recommend!)

Alicia Malone hosts the FilmStruck podcast. If you're not familiar with FilmStruck, it's the streaming service that hosts the Criterion collection and specializes in classic/foreign/arthouse. The podcast is generally a conversational interview with a guest either talking about a recent project or reviewing something a bit more obscure.
