Attention English Teachers - Looking for Short Story Collections

I'm going to teach a short story class and am looking for THE BEST anthologies for one of the following: (1) Best American stories (all centuries) (2) Best 20th century stories (global - all countries) or (3) Best 19th century stories (global - all countries). It needs to be available now on Amazon.

I love the Sudden Fiction and Sudden Fiction International collections for this, edited by Robert Shapard, though they're mostly focused on recent/contemporary fiction.

None of the stories in Other Voices, Other Vistas are by Americans. It was originally published in 1992 and the individual stories were mostly published in the 70s and 80s. It's one of my favorite anthologies.

Edna Ferber One Basket. I have only just discovered her, in a bag of used books, and I am hooked on her stories.
