White pumpkin recipes?

As part of a journey to the final frontier of frugality, I have some white pumpkins to eat. Regular American pumpkins, not Indian white pumpkin. Are they the same as orange? Can I make a squash soup with them? Or do you have some other ideas? Thanks!
Yeah no real difference as long as you’re not scrutinizing a blind taste test.
I’d stuff one, maybe two depending on size and how many need to be eaten. I like using sautéed veggies and grains and cheese and maybe meat, or whatever within these guidelines.

If they've been somewhere warm (like, indoors being decorative) there's a larger chance of them being mealy or watery, but I often eat my decorations and they're fine as often as not.

I think soup is a perfect application for them. Cook them really simply and taste them after blending and then add extras or reduce as needed to augment flavor and texture. Some sweet potato can work really well to take sad pumpkin puree into something that feels a lot more robust without a lot of additions.

Best answer: Or do you have some other ideas?
Well, do you have any sort of pumpkin launching device? Because they use white pumpkins for that.

Lots of pumpkin curries in Indian cooking. Like this one. Look up Indian pumpkin curry.
