Question: Pseudonym tracking

Is there anyway to find the real names of current authors who use pen names? presumably, the author isn't deep undercover.

RumorFliter: I have heard through the grapevine that an acquaintance has written "several well-known, well-selling" novels under a pseudonym. I find this vey hard to believe, but it's true, I'm going to be really annoyed. It would clear up some mysteries, however, such as why he has such a nice apartment and why he gets girlfriends who are seemingly out of his league.

This one helped me find an author I liked.

Is there a way to search in reverse on that one? It seems like you can look up the pseudonym and find the real one. I want to look up the real and find the pseudonym.

Lalalana, you could just do a Google search of the site for the keywords that interest you.

Couldn't you just get one of the novels and check the copyright page? A lot of the time the author's real name will be on there.

Before you stray too far from karmaville's answer, the list does work both ways. The real name entry is bolded text with pen name in brackets underneath, and the pen name has a link to the real name underneath it. Try clicking a few active links, you'll see it.
