Question: Lever-driven clock

WoodenClockFilter

Saw a link a few months ago, lost it now. Guy who built a wooden clock with no gears, ONLY LEVERS. Help me find it again.

I found this site through Boingboing, this site, growabrain, fark, or some other site like that. But searches of all those sites yields nothing now.

This guy was great. He hand-built tons of wooden clocks, and and had built one that used no gears, only lever. Absolutely incredible. Google searches for:
"wooden clock" handmade lever gear

and variations on the same were fruitless

Anyone else see this?

Not entirely wooden, but gearless nonetheless. Designed by Phillip Woodward, as he describes in his book.

Perhaps what you were looking for?

(Googled for "gearless clock.")

This site showcases a ton of hand-made wooden clocks including one called the "Moon Phase Clock" which, according to the author, operates entirely via levers and pulleys.

Jim "KrazyDad" Bumgardner constructed a wooden clock called The Ascent - it was featured in Gizmodo and a number of other sites.

"There used to be three stumps lined up here. Inside of the third stump was this torsion clock. All I had to do was chip away everything that didn't look like a clock."
