Will I have any problems with getting Apple to print an iPhoto bound book with nothing but nudie pictures?

I took all the pictures myself, for a friend, and I want to get them made into a book for her. I looked to see if Apple had any problems with this type of printing, but I couldn't find anything. All of the pictures are tasteful and artistic, but...nothing is left to the imagination.

(also, should I worry about extra copies of this floating around if I go through Apple?)

Why was my book order rejected?
On rare occasions, we may reject your order to comply with our sales policies or for quality reasons. We will let you know why your book order was rejected by email. If your order is rejected, please make sure that you have the latest version of iPhoto installed before you resubmit. You can check for available updates on the iPhoto Downloads page.

There's an email form on that page as well; it might be in your best interests to send in your question first to see if they have a specific policy in place regarding this. I can't imagine it's never come up before.

Seems like if they are artful nudes, it shouldn't set off any bells. I suppose the worst case scenario is they refund your money and don't send the book, so you might as well try it.

It looks like Apple has the books fulfilled by mypublisher.com. Their rules may be different for Apple customers, but on the mypublisher site they have a list of terms one of which is:

"1. Your Submissions
Under these Terms, you may NOT place any of the following material or obtain any such material using the Service:
· Any threatening, obscene,
pornographic or profane material or other material that may give rise to a possible civil or criminal liability under applicable law. MyPublisher advocates that you use an "adult-content" warning label when sharing pictures that include legal adult content;

...While MyPublisher does not and cannot review all submissions, and is not responsible for their content, MyPublisher reserves the right to move or delete submissions that it, in its sole discretion, deems offensive, defamatory, libelous, obscene or in violation of trademark or copyright laws or otherwise unacceptable."

So, I guess it depends on their definition of pornography and your definition of nudie pictures.

You can get a good color printer failrly cheap these days. That might be your best route to avoid these situations.

this doesn't directly address your question, but maybe you can bind the book by hand? I dunno, sounds appropriate for such an intimate and personal gift. Kinko's can handle the print job easy, and you can get books on hand book-binding anywhere (it's always bothered me that those books usually aren't hand-bound, though). also, this way you don't have to worry about copies getting out.

Note: if Apple won't do it, perhaps QOOP will? I couldn't find anything in their terms of service about rejecting ANY type of photos...

Just as a follow-up, Apple had no problem with the sexual content of my photos. And the book came out great!
