Turn-based multiplayer games for Android

I'm looking for recommendations for Android games that I can play with friends who don't live near me. Ideally I could take a turn, and then the game would wait for them to take a turn. Trivia Crack is a pretty good example, but I'd like games from other genres or especially cooperative games like Pandemic. Free or paid is fine. Thanks!

Not cooperative, but it looks like there is an Android version of Twilight Struggle. I haven't tried it but it says it offers asynchronous play.

Actually, it looks like the publisher, Asmodee Games, is the same company that made the Android versions of Pandemic and several other strategy board games. You might find one you like in their catalog.
