Does anyone make headphones with a built-in MP3 player?

I like to do various activities (like running) while wearing headphones, but the cord from my MP3 player to the headphones gets in the way. I started looking at bluetooth solutions, but then it occured to me that somebody might make a pair of headphones with a small MP3 player built right in. I checked the askme archives, and a few manufacturer sites, but found nothing. If anyone knows of such a device (preferably closed headphones), I'd love to hear about it.

There's the MacAlly mTUNE-N which let you dock iPod Nano directly the headphones. Plus they're closed.

Why just headphones? I mean, you need to protect your eyes, too, right? Yeah, and about that bluetooth thing, well, that's possible too.

Please note, I'm not responsible for how fugly you'll look wearing these.

Or just build your own.

I've actually been on the lookout for some of these too. Here's a pair that was mentioned in Engadget. Frankly, I'm surprised there aren't more options - it seems pretty simple to slap a 1GB flash card into a pair of headphones.

Here's a behind the head pair available in 256 and 512 MB flavors, and another christened "Think Headtrip" that tops out at 1GB. These were mentioned at Gizmodo, and are just $130 for 512MB. These "Mojo" ones are downright fugly, but have a memory card slot for expansion, which is nice. Hm...I am really feeling the need to complement my hard drive player, and I think one of these might be the perfect option.

I picked up the "Mojo" headphones from Amazon a while back. I hate them. They are not comfortable and all of the cards I have tried with the expansion slot have not been recognized. The main memory requires the use of a proprietary music format that is uploaded through a low quality unsupported program. Stay away from them! (Unless you want to buy a lightly used pair from me ;). )

Tiger Direct has a set that you may be interested in: TheUltra Bluetooth Headset with MP3 Player and FM Tuner. I admit the name is a bit clunky, but I tell you what: If I hadn't bought a Nano a month before I saw this, I was gonna get one! It works with a bluethooth enabled cell phone (so you can still get calls while jamming), has an FM tuner (if you wanna just listen to the airwaves), takes SD cards (so you can have gigs of music with you) - All that in a single pair of head phones. God, I wanted one. I would of gotten it too, if I could have found someone to buy my iPod.

BUT, at any rate, that's MY suggestion on what to snag.
