Ever done anything ethically questionable for Work?

I had to do something dishonest lately, in the name of work. A friend tells me that this is normal and happens all the time.

I can't go into too much detail about what the dishonest thing was, but suffice to say it wasn't something I could negotiate on unless I was willing to risk my job (which I've considered, but I'm not quite there yet).

So I'm just wondering - how pervasive is it to do ethically shady things for your company? Have you ever done? And if you did, are you ok with it?

Not trying to justify my own decisions, but I'm curious to see what others' experiences are. Thanks in advance.
