Help me name this song!

It was played fairly frequently on the radio in the US at the same time Despacito was first being played nonstop (so I think July). It is similar to Mi Gente in style, like dance music.

The chorus was sung by a female with a high pitched voice in a non-English language (maybe Spanish or Portuguese). But the whole song may have been non-English. All I know for sure is that she sings "Oo! Oo!" at the beginning of the chorus and I always smiled cause it sounded like she was saying "Poopoo!"

I've been searching for hours and I can't find this damn song. Please help.

Best answer: Is it "Calabria 2007" by Enur featuring Natasja?

Response by poster: That's it! Thank you so much :) My friend and I were literally searching for hours. No wonder I couldn't find it, I was searching for all the wrong things.

Yay, I'm glad that was it! I actually Shazamed "Despacito" and this song right in a row one night around midnight in Union Square, back in mid-July, waiting for a friend while watching street dancers. So as soon as I came across it while scrolling back through my Shazams, I knew that was probably the one.

easy now no need fi go down -
woop woop when u run come aroun cos now ur the talk of the town yeah

From the comments under that (gross) video there may be a Spanish language cover, I dunno.

I didn't know the singer, it's Natasja Saad, 1974-2007, Danish Sudanese Reggae star. Lots of material about her on Youtube here in the links, also lots of information about her from her label under 'more'.
