Cricket Sledging Quotes

I wanted to read the sledging quotes said by Pakistan cricketers to Indian batsmen in the recent ongoing India-Pakistan series ? Is there any website or blog where I can find them ?

You might start with the BBC's cricket page, which also provides links to these English-language Indian and Pakistani sites. (Sorry, not sure what to look for, 'cause I'm no cricket maven.)

I havent yet found any sites which have the uncensored sledging quotes. Not even cricinfo or BBC site.

Unless there were particularly memorable ones, I'm not sure why anyone would record those. Your best bet is to visit Indian forums and ask. Desi Torrents is down for the time being, but Bollywood Torrents isn't (go to the 'Sports Talk' section)

There has been a lot of publicity about Afridi and other Pak cricketers sledging Irfan Pathan in particular. So might be some website has put that up.

I got sent a round-the-office email that was a list of amusing sledges - mostly England vs Australia [self link to .txt file on my webspace]. Not sure if it's quite what you want.

I'll ask a friend who writes for a major cricketing web site, but I don't know if somebody actually keeps a track of it.

Aside: We are getting so fucking frustrated with this series.

I don't have an answer for you, but I want to offer my thanks for teaching me the word sledge. Is it general throughout the cricket world? The only dictionary I can find it in is my Oxford Australian.

pollystark, England Vs. Australia sledges are pretty good ... but I have already read most of them on diverse sites ... I believe Afridi said something like this to Pathan: "When you bowl, your bowl hardly comes to the wicket .. what will you bat !!"

Also, Shoaib said to Dhoni: "You made such big statements in the press. Lets see your courage !!"

But I believe there were many other sledges.
