Help me bring my WALL-E back to life

I have an Ultimate WALL-E remote controlled robot [the big one now no longer made and I checked with the maker and no help there] and his rechargeable battery is long dead. Finding a suitable new one is proving a challenge. He needs correct size 7.2V Ni-MH battery pack and locating a vendor is not so easy. Anyone have a source for this?

Can you post an image of the old battery and/or transcribe any markings on it?

Best answer: eBay knows about a bunch of battery packs...if the pictures are accurate, then it's just a half-dozen or so standard NiMH cells in a shrink-wrap sleeve with a plastic connector. If you don't want to buy one of those, you can often have a custom pack made up at a local battery service center -- they'll spot-weld several new cells together into a pack, and put your old connector back on it.

Response by poster: Unable. My current one is a replacement I found not knowing it would prove difficult to get again, so it is not the best reference image. The original pack is the size of 6 AA batteries bundled with a shrink wrap cover and the red & black leads attached inside the wrap. Mostly I need a source where I can see choices and/or post my needs to someone knowledgeable in the battery business.

Maybe this ? Can't vouch for it, but description seems to match.

As an FYI, any 6-cell NiMH battery will provide 7.2 V and be basically interchangeable with one another, so as long as it fits and has the right connector, it should work just fine. A higher mAh rating only means that it will usually run longer.
