How to change font size in Chrome on iPhone?

I recently got an iPhone after years of Android and I'm still trying to figure out some of the details. I downloaded Chrome because that's my desktop browser. But I can't figure out if I can increase the font size within Chrome itself. If I go to my settings in the iPhone and increase the font size there, it makes some text in other apps larger, but not Chrome. And within Chrome itself, I can't find a text size option in the settings. When I google the issue, all I find is how to increase the font size for iOS on the desktop. Does anyone know if this is possible, and how to do it? I really don't want to break out the reading glasses just to read on my phone.

I don't know for sure but I'd go into the General Settings app and look for accessibility options. Font enlargement is often there. Also check out the Chrome settings in General > Settings. Often there's more info there.

Best answer: Just was trying do this 2 weeks ago, because the small font size is ridiculous. Checked accessibility and chrome settings and no dice. Came across lots posts of people requesting this feature and being told that there was no way to do it. I've given up for now, but wanted to let you know what I've tried.

Response by poster: mabelstreet, thank you for confirming that I'm not out of my mind! That at least brings me some peace even if I still can't fix the issue.
