Script Error signing in to Google

I get a script error: "An error has occurred in the script on this page. Do you want to continue using scripts on this page?" "Yes/No". Yes/No does not work, I have to use Task Manager to get rid of the page (am signing in to Picasa). I have restarted the computer (running Chrome browser on Windows 10) to no avail. Gmail & Calendar are OK so far. Needing advice! Thanks!

You do know that Picasa is no longer supported?

Yeah where are you even finding a sign in page for picasa? If you have something old bookmarked that isn't taken down, it's probably just a broken web page that isn't going to be fixed. You can maybe try an older version of chrome if you absolutely have to get in?

Best answer: The wording of the error message indicates that it's coming from Internet Explorer, not Chrome.

I'm guessing you're trying to sign in to the Picasa desktop application? It probably uses the operating system's built-in copy of IE to embed a browser frame for the sign-in process. So you might want to try upgrading IE if possible.

Response by poster: Yes I know that Google has no longer supported Picasa since March 2016 and one has to use Google Photos (which I also have), but I am used to Picasa and like it.
Teraflop is correct; I am using the Picasa desktop app, which in the top right hand corner still says "Sign in with Google Account". I am now careful not to sign in and it continues to work well. Digitaltrends.com has an excellent article about continuing to use Picasa.
I am marking Teraflop's as the best answer, but thank you all for your help.
