Data upload from Garmin Forerunner 310xt through Android

Anyone know how to configure a Samsung Galaxy S8 so as to upload files through ANT+ from a 310xt to Garmin Connect/Strava?

I have a Forerunner 310xt that does what I need. I recently had to upgrade my mobile to a Galaxy S8. It's nice and shiny, and supposedly it comes with an internal ANT+ chip, which the Forerunner uses for data transfer. I'd like to be able to upload data through my mobile to Garmin Connect and/or Strava. Anyone have experience doing such a crazy thing?

Best answer: No personal experience, but there is a non-free app specifically for uploading garmin watch data with reviews by people who are doing exactly what you want to do. The instructions say you can try out the device connection process before paying.
