Want to build website showing nearest location

Is there a template or site builder where you can enter a bunch of location points in a database, and the user can find out the closest point and distance to based on their zip code?
Google actually has a tutorial on how you might do this, if you're not afraid of some code.
If you use something like Wordpress for your site, though, there are plenty of plugins that help you do it, too (no specific recommendations, sorry, as it's been years since I've needed to do this). You're looking for a "store locator" plugin.

Search on what exactly you're looking for. There's definitely an API for that.
