Need suggestions for music to play for a candlelight vigil tonight

I'm running around trying to set up a local candlelight vigil tonight for Charlottesville. No luck so far finding anyone with a guitar or anything, so I'm trying to come up with a playlist for background music, etc.
I need suggestions that are not too far out there, please, because this is a small, conservative town. My mind is going in so many different directions right now, that I can only come up with "Give Peace a Chance". I've got five hours to pull this together. Help!

Response by poster: Meant to add, any pre-made playlists would be great, I couldn't find anything on Spotify.

Best answer: This would be a good job to delegate: your music loving friend might enjoy spending the next hour making your playlist.

Best answer: all the very polite soul music during the black rights movement? 'what's going on' marvin gaye, 'moving on up' curtis williams, 'stand by me' etc? Often the words have a real powerful meaning and the tunes are beautiful, maybe people can sing along and you can get compilation CDs easily with a fair few tracks on (or youtube provides..)

Best answer: First things I thought of were three songs performed by Choir! Choir! Choir!:
Imagine by Lennon
Zombie by The Cranberries
Bridge Over Troubled Water by Simon & Garfunkel
I realize I saw this question too late, but perhaps it may help someone in the future.

Response by poster: So as it happened, I didn't have time to read most of the answers before I had to start burning a CD (My people with the PA system are, um, elderly, and couldn't tell me what kind of connection their Karaoke machine had, so I brought an old school boom box we could plug into the wall.) And we ended up having so many speakers that I only played about 4 songs while we were waiting to get started, and that was it. But now I have two CD's full of "Songs to play at a Peace Vigil", most of which I found by googling "songs about peace and love", and I'm going to list them here in case anyone else has this problem.
Bill Withers - Lean On Me
Bob Marley - One Love
Aretha Franklin - Holy Moses
Buffalo Springfield - For What It's Worth
Cat Stevens - Peace Train
Elvis Costello - What's So Funny About Peace, Love and Understanding?
George Harrison - Give Me Love
John and Yoko - Give Peace A Chance
The Hollies - He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother
Jeff Beck, Rod Stewart - People Get Ready
Jeff Buckley - Hallelujah
John Mellencamp - Peaceful World
Ozomatli - Love and Hope
Michael Franti and Spearhead - Love Will Find a Way
Marvin Gaye - Mercy, Mercy Me
Marvin Gaye - What's Going On
Matisyahu - One Day
Michael Franti and Spearhead - Bomb the World
Michael Franti and Spearhead - See You In The Light
Michael Jackson - Black or White
Israel "IZ" Kamakawiwoʻole - Somewhere Over the Rainbow
U2 - One
Peter Paul and Mary - Blowin' In The Wind
Reba McEntire - Pray for Peace
Tears for Fears - Sowing the Seeds of Love
Ben E King - Stand By Me
The Byrds - Turn, Turn, Turn
The Youngbloods - Get Together
Tracy Chapman - Heaven's Here On Earth
U2 - Pride (In the Name of Love)
War - Why Can't We Be Friends
