Name That Painting

Artfilter: What is the name of the painting, and the painter, of the portrait hanging near the door of Will's apartment in Will & Grace? It's a portrait of a male, shoulders up, no shirt.

Set Decorator Melinda Ritz employed a collector to search out male themed artworks for use in the Will's Apartment set for the NBC show Will & Grace. Ms. Ritz chose this image because of its resemblance to Eric McCormack, the actor who portrays Will."

So the one on the wall was a copy of something the collector found? But they don't remember what the original was?

Whatever it is I've always found it a bit creepy. I think it's something about the mouth.
