Stroke neurorehabilitation units in the UK

Does anyone have any direct or indirect experience with the following neurorehabilitation units: Royal Leamington Spa Rehabilitation Hospital, Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability, Northwick Park Regional Rehabilitation Unit, Colman Hospital, and National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery?

Seven weeks ago, while on vacation, my mother had a severe cerebellar stroke, followed by a three week coma after surgery to reduce pressure on her cerebellum and brain stem. She is now back in the UK, where she lives, but the stroke unit at her local hospital (Addenbrooke's in Cambridge) cannot accept her as a patient. This is primarily because she has a tracheostomy, but she may also need a level of rehabilitation that exceeds what they can provide. (For context: She cannot speak due to her tracheostomy. Her right-hand side has little movement, while her left-hand side and head have intense tremors, which make other forms of communication difficult. She sometimes sticks out her tongue for "yes" but we cannot get her to do so reliably yet.) We therefore need to move her to a suitable rehabilitation unit. We are currently considering the following "level 1" rehabilitation units: Royal Leamington Spa Rehabilitation Hospital, Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability, Northwick Park Regional Rehabilitation Unit, and Colman Hospital. We are also considering one "level 2a" rehabilitation unit: National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery. My question is therefore as follows: does anyone here have any direct or indirect experience with these units? Facts, personal stories, etc., are all appreciated.

I did a clinical placement at NHNN and it was fabulous. If you can get there, do.

Northwick Park has a great reputation and so does the Royal Hospital for Neurodisability. I have done some great courses at the latter.

I don't know anything about the others.
