Where can I find out when Lee Bontecou's next exhibit will be at?

Hi all! I visited the Lee Bontecou exhibit in Den Haag several months ago and my heart is still aching from the way her work resonates with me. This exhibit is over now, but I would like to revisit this exhibit at its next destination - if it ever pops up?

Wikipedia has a list of where her artwork can be found, and I hope to one day visit them all.

However this particular exhibit appeals to me with its great mix of her mobiles and sculptures. I regret not taking more photos when I was there. Is there some site that keeps track of where particular artists would appear?

Cheers!

Best answer: This looks like a one-off exhibition, unfortunately--particularly because of the new installation created just for it. Sometimes major museum exhibitions have a traveling itinerary, but this is usually announced in advance.

The artworld is a pretty chaotic and disorganized place so I don't know of any central repository of exhibitions that are being planned. If you want to keep an eye on where Bontecou's work will be on view in the future, you should probably keep an eye on the upcoming exhibitions listings on ArtForum, Artsy, and Artnet News.

Also, it looks like the Gemeentemuseum has a catalog you can order. That might be a good supplement to your own photos. Glad you got to see so much of her work in person!

Response by poster: Thanks informavore! I had an inkling it was a one-off exhibition. Will keep an eye out on those links, and I do have the catalog arriving soon. Cheers for the help!

Maybe set up a Google Alert on her name?
