How to get The Happiest Toddler On The Block audiobook by July 6?

How can we get The Happiest Toddler On The Block audiobook / CD on or before July 6? We would really like to listen to it on an upcoming road trip, but it seems that it's not available for download and if we order off Amazon, Barnes & Noble, or eBay it won't arrive in time (Amazon bizarrely has a month-long wait). Even torrent sites are failing me - they only have the book or the DVD. Is there anywhere else I could get the audiobook?

Best answer: Try your local library.

Best answer: Per your mefi user bio, you appear to be in Cleveland. It seems there are two copies of the audiobook at the Cleveland Library.

Maybe borrow, rip the CD to mp3, and return before you trip?

Response by poster: Awesome, thanks so much. It's funny how we develop blind spots - I looked up whether the library had it available as a downloadable audiobook in their app (they don't), and totally forgot that libraries have physical CDs!

I was going to say library too. My other suggestion would be to put it out as a request to borrow in your local FB mommy groups, to parents at your daycare, or on your local Buy Nothing group.

A last ditch option would be to by a kindle copy and then listen to it via voice over (or equivalent). It works on my phone, though it sounds fairly robotic and is harder to follow than an actual audiobook. Most smart phones should have a function that will read the screen to you.
