you're soaking in it!

Am organizing a small & quiet low-key (no strippers) bachelor party for a half dozen guys. We are thinking of Sierraville hot springs, although it's a little newagey/hippie/meditative for us, as we might want to be a bit more social.

Any suggestions for a similar place near Sacramento where we could make just *slightly* more noise and that would be a bit easier to get to (dirt roads might be kind of muddy in mid-Feb)? I don't want to bother the meditators at Sierraville, and if the springs are inaccessible without 4WD at that time, maybe I should consider other options. Funky, cheap, off-the-beaten-path are all huge pluses.
