Can anyone give details on what these symbols are?

Best answer: Characters look like 士豆网 to me. Google translate says it means "Soybean network" or "Bean network".

Best answer: 土豆网 is Tudou, a Chinese video-sharing website. Sorry the answer isn't more exciting.

For general character recognition where you only have a picture of the text, try drawing it in ShapeCatcher. It currently doesn't support CJK characters. For kanji/hanzi, there's the s.l.j Kanji recognition tool, or Google Translate's handwrite input method.
