Change the "HandsFreeLink" device name in my car?

Is there a way for our CRV to show up on Bluetooth as anything other than "HandsFreeLink"?

We just bought a 2014 CRV, and it has the HandsFreeLink system.
When we connect a phone over Bluetooth, it works just fine, but the car shows up as "HandsFreeLink" in the list of Bluetooth devices.
Considering that this is probably the default name for the device on all Honda cars with this system, it would be nice to be able to "rename the car" to know which connection we are using or whether we are accidentally in range of someone else's Honda.
(It would also just be fun for the car to have its own name)
Can't find it in the menu system, but I could be missing something.
Is there a way to rename this?

OR... on a non-Jailbroken iphone running ios10 (or 11?) is there a way to locally change the name of bluetooth devices or distinguish them from each other?

Doesn't the car require pairing with each phone? So it wouldn't connect with another car's link which would create havoc for phone calls.

Response by poster: Maybe. But also, for example, we theoretically might get a second Honda some time in the next couple of years, which might also have HandsFreeLink. If I want to pair the same phone to both cars, I want them to appear differently somehow.

I know you can customize device names in the Bluetooth devices menu on my android phone . Like I have "pink headphones " "my car" " tablet" instead of the cryptic serial numbers that are default. Is that what you mean?

Response by poster: (babysitting my question is fun)

Green Eyed Monster: If there's no way to actually rename the car itself from its own settings, then yes this would be a good backup idea. As far as I can tell you can't do it in iOS but someone might know a trick.

Not apples-to-apples, but when pairing my phone to my unconfigurable home stereo, the stereo just spat out some string of characters and I had to rename it to "Stereo" on my phone.
