Help me replace my beloved Fluevog sandals, please!

My beloved discontinued Fluevog sandals (purchased around 2009) suffered a tragic accident yesterday and are no more. I have taken pictures of the sole (heh) survivor. I'm looking for a replacement pair that is similar: well-made, comfortable, open toe, adjustable slingback strap, low heel (1/2 inch), leather, delicate (not chunky) and classic. My feet tend to be hard to fit; I have wider toes and a narrower heel. Any suggestions of specific replacements that would be available in Canada (online order or in-person purchase in Vancouver) much appreciated. Under $200 CAD preferable.

I suggest this in every shoe or sandal thread: mohops. They have some options that fit your needs; custom ones wouldn't, but maybe you can find a pair in her etsy shop or something.

I have those sandals in black/tan and have only worn them a few times. They're an 8.5.

Response by poster: Thanks for the mohops recommendation, Ms Vegetable! They're very cute and reasonable--not quite what I'm looking for, but I'll definitely be bookmarking that site. And oh, 41swans, I'd buy those off you in a minute except I'm a size 7...but thank you!

Have you already scoured the Fluemarket and EBay for the same pair? You can also try voting on shoes in the Flueseum to bring them back. I definitely feel your pain as a fellow Fluevogger.

Response by poster: Ahhh! Thank you gingerbeer. I had forgotten about the Fluemarket. I managed to find out that this style is called Joanna from the Fellowship family. It seems there are a couple of pairs floating around Ebay and the Fluemarket, but alas they are not my size. But I'll keep looking!

I can say that Birkenstock had some almost-delicate Papillio sandals that fit duck feet last year (at some Toronto Soft Moc locations and I think gravitypope) - Canadian online store here. I hear good things about Vionics (but haven't tested them). Take a look at some of Josef Seibel's Tonga sandals (but to actually buy, it might come down to an hour of pecking around walkingonacloud.ca, because of course, our online shopiverse was frozen in 1998).

I highly recommend Think! shoes (sandals here at Zappos), which I think I first heard about on Ask Metafilter or somewhere similar online. They're Austrian, super comfortable and supportive, and very well made (the non-sandal shoes have removable cork and leather insoles that you can replace rather than throwing out the shoe). They tend to fit a wider forefoot with a narrower heel. A lot of the styles look a bit funky for my tastes, but some are more neutral. Looking at the style of your Fluevog pair, maybe this pair?

Response by poster: Late update, but here's the pair I ended up getting as a replacement. They aren't really that similar but they do have a similar vibe, I think.
