I'm looking for a version of today's Al Gore speech I can put onto my iPod for the commute tomorrow. Does anyone know where I can find it in a format other than the annoying Real Media format?

Best answer: That's actually video (QT/MP4), but there's an MP3 here.

Audible.com used to have a fair number of political speeches available for free. I just went looking, and found their website a lot harder to navigate than last time I was there.

I just got the mp3/mp4 back up...

should work again 10 minutes from now (2006-01-16T23:50:36 PST).

Thanks to a very generous donation from my hosting provider, Birdhouse Hosting.
