Mount Roraima

I'm wanting to travel to South America and have a number of places I want to go and can't decided which to go to. This week let's talk about Mount Roraima.

Have you been there? Did you have a guide? Would the current political and economic conditions in Venezuela be adverse to travel there? Any information is welcome.

I have a friend who was planning a trip to visit his family in Venezuela. After months of planning they told him not to come because of the political unrest.

Maybe another location.
