Ottoman Miniature Museum in Istanbul

I am hoping to find a museum in Istanbul that has a great collection of Ottoman miniatures.

I've been to the archeological museum and the palace museums, neither of which had many miniatures. I haven't been to the mosaics museum yet. I've heard there are some miniatures at the calligraphy museum. Is it worth going?

Thanks for the help!

By palace museums do you mean Topkapı and Dolmabahçe? Because the Turkish and Islamic Arts Museum (Türk ve İslam Eserleri Müzesi) in the former İbrahim Paşa palace has some miniatures, or used to. It's ages since I've been to the calligraphy museum but I remember it having some good stuff. The Sakip Sabancı museum has a lovely book arts collection but more calligraphy than miniatures, and it's a bit out of the way (a pleasant ferry ride up the Bosphorus, though).

Response by poster: Yes, the Topkapi palace museum, sorry. I'll check out the Ibrahim Pasha palace, thank you!
