Foot massage accessory.

I'm looking for a foot massage device that will allow me to massage my ladies feet while she reclines on a couch.

Sometimes I let her rest her feet on my bent leg but that becomes uncomfortable for me. I need something that will allow her to position her feet to hang over the edge to allow me access to her ankles and calf. Any pointers to a commercially available product would be very helpful.

Maybe a simple small ottoman would work. I might be missing something but that is the piece of furniture designed to put feet/calves on.

This is basically a substitute leg made of memory foam. If you need it a little higher, put a pillow under it.

My husband and I both use this particular one to rest our feet on under our desks, but they are also meant for massage tables etc for the same purposes you need it for.

If you get a foot massage at my favorite Chinatown backrub place, they prop your feet up off the table with a roll of paper towels.

Response by poster: I'm sorry I didn't describe the situation better. We sit at opposite ends of a couch facing each other. Her legs are extended to my side while my feet are on the ground.

Best answer: Presumably your discomfort is caused by the weight resting on your leg? How about putting some sofa cushions under her knees and lower legs so the weight is distributed away from your leg?
