Great real estate agents in Seattle?

I would like to buy a house of my own in the near future. I'm looking for personal recommendations of good real estate agents who know the North Seattle area.

What I'm looking for here are examples from your own experience of honest, knowledgable, helpful agents. If you recently bought a home and have nothing but good things to say about your real estate agent, I want to know about it.

We bought our house from Linda Landin at Preview Properties. She was very nice and helpful - actually, we ended up buying the first house she showed us (though of course we looked at others before making our decision).

Nothing about real estate agents, but I can refer you to a great mortgage broker after you find that dream house. My email is in the profile.

If you're interested in Ballard, no one knows it better than Liz Talley of Windermere. (Windermere has something like 80% of the Seattle listings, not that you can't buy a house from other realtors.) She knows the surrounding area too, of course, but I've heard her jokingly called the "mayor of Ballard" for her knowledge of that 'hood specifically. She sold us our Ballard house in 2001 and was incredibly easy to work with.

I have, literally, the best realtor on the planet. Joni Panciera at Remax Northgate. Tell her Amy referred you. She is a total fucking BLAST to go out looking with, is incredibly responsive, knows everything about realty, is completely on top of things and is just generally the bomb. I cannot recommend her highly enough. Feel free to email me.

If you're looking in the Greenlake, Greenwood or Phinney areas, my friend/former coworker Alex Eckardt is another great Windermere rep.
