Need pick-up lines for human powered laundromat

... a friend of mine is starting a laundromat powered by stationary bicycles ... probably combined with coffeeshop, newstand, etc. It doesn't take much imagination to see how this combines many of the standard pick-up venues for urban 20-30-sumptin's. Rather than deny this, he's soliciting as many cheesy or not-so-cheesy pick-up lines that would play on the combination of suds and bikes ("Wanna go for a spin?"). Lame puns on tired cliches (eg. "looking for your Rinse Charming?") are welcome, too.

I'm with duck and lobstah. How the hell does this work? They pedal a bike that drives a generator that generates enough electricity to power a washer? Unlikely. Or they spin the drum of the washing machine directly with a set of pedals? Also unlikely. There is gonna be some dingy looking laundry. Hope they sell lots of newspapers and coffee, 'cause they ain't gonna make much money with this bike/washing machine idea.

Frankly, I think they'll be better off with a clothesline and a washtub...

Has your friend done any research into this? A typical dryer is one of the most energy intensive appliances - it takes 4000 to 6000 watts just for the heating element, while a human on a stationary bike generates about 150 to 200 watts. So, in the best case, you'd need 20 people pedaling for an hour, just to dry one load of wash?

Thanks muchly, folksies. This collection of pickup lines is for inclusion in a grant to continue the R+D of the project. If all goes well then in a couple of years your pickup lines will apear on the walls of a reallife "Spin Cycle" and it's second location: "Tour de Pants" in Boston, MA.

There's a prototype for the laundry machine. There's none for the drier as our resident gearhead has sussed out. Possibilities include a set of clotheslines that cycle through the rafters and paying the electric company to certify that the electricity used for dryers is generated by windpower.
