Chihuahua mix with elevated ALT levels

My 12 year old chihuahua mix Maxine had high ALT levels on her last 2 rounds of bloodwork. She is asymptomatic except for a decreased appetite. Does anybody have experience with canine liver supplements? There are a lot of options out there...

Best answer: Our 8 year old pup takes Denamarin, and has for several years. Seems to keep ALT and symptoms (occassional vomiting, diarrhea) under control.

Best answer: Denamarin is the gold standard.
