I need help coding a learning algorithm in R for a research project I am working on. I know that this takes coding skill that I don't currently have. Where is the best place to go online to find someone I can pay to help me with this?

Have you tried going to stack exchange yet? The data science forum seems to have a lot of r/machine learning questions. Maybe they can get you started without paying anyone.

Not being glib, but mefi jobs would be a great place to find people.

If a grad student looking for some extra cash would do, why not check with your friendly local statistics department? (I'm assuming the location in your profile is correct.)

Response by poster: I have already looked around at student and even faculty options, but the big issue is time. This is work I need done quickly and right now, most people can't commit to a project and work on it quickly.

Best answer: Lots of coders are on on Upwork.com, they're usually ready to start right away and are not super expensive.

Best answer: Also came here to mention upwork as the place you might be able to find help quickly. However please keep in mind you often get what you pay for.
