How do I get the word out on my fundraising project?

I need some suggestions on how to get the word out about an on-line fundraising project

I am using Fundable.org to help finance a Peace Corps project that I have started but am having trouble grabbing attention. I have posted the projet on my website, I've e-mailed all my friends and family. Some friends have posted the project on their sites as well. But the drive isn't doing very well. Any suggestions?

AskMetaFilter, on the other hand, is not. Not that I know of, anyway.
