camisole with good coverage

I'm looking for a camisole I can wear in place of a bra. Ideally washable and not too expensive.

This is sort of funny because I once answered an AskMe from a person looking for this exact same thing. However -- what I used to wear were Costco store brand camisoles, and they don't work for me anymore. I did a ton of nursing and pumping the last few years and my nipples are now visible through thin shelf bras.

So what I want, I think, is a somewhat supportive, comfortable camisole with some sort of thicker material/padding in the bra area. I'd very much like for it to be something I can machine wash, and of course the cheaper the better. Does this exist, mefites?

Thanks!

Uniqlo has airism camisoles that have padding and are very comfortable.

Thirding Uniqlo. They last for years.

Yup, Uniqlo - I own only one, and I've been wearing it frequently throughout the past 2.5+ years I've been nursing. It hides nipples (and leaks!), provides comfy support, and it's the only shirt whose neckline hasn't stretched out.

Fourth vote for Uniqlo airism. I wash on cold and hang dry - they have held up well.

I like Uniqlo too - though sometimes I have trouble with them being a bit too short (I am tall and long-torsoed).

I found some decent ones at Target a couple of years ago too.

I love the ones from Express. They're nice and long too.

They aren't cheap, but these tank tops from Lululemon are wonderful. They are machine washable, have removable padding, are a little bit longer than average and the material doesn't look like athletic wear.

Seconding the lululemon power y tops. I also had to abandon my Costco camis after nursing... they were awesome. The lululemon tops aren't cheap but they're comfortable and the fabric feels nice.

I like the Nordstrom branded ones, snug without being tight and pretty lightweight. Very smooth.

I find the Airism ones snag on everything.

These Ellen Tracy ones are thiicker.

Response by poster: Thank you so much, everyone. I ordered a Uniqlo one and if that doesn't work I'll try one of the others next.
