Incredible girl in line at store

I think I connected well with someone right opposite in me in line. I decided to leave conversation for a future (maybe chance) meeting. What do you think?

I live and work in a fairly small area. There is one major supermarket/mall that people go to.

Today, I ventured further afield than unusual at lunch and went to a small shop inside. Right in front of me in line was one of the most incredible girls I have ever seen.

I didn't look at first, but we exchanged a number of glances. She ordered and I ordered, then we successively moved together and a little further apart.

I was in one of those calm, dream-like states. When she took out her purse to pay, I took out my wallet, despite being further from the cashier. We exchanged a couple more glances. She told the cashier she would sit in and I ordered to go, since for some reason I planned to return to work. Finally, she reached right over in front of me, in such a way as would definitely get my attention, and took perhaps some napkins.

I didn't want to sit with her just then - because eating near or opposite someone for the first time is not ideal, I think - also, I didn't know if she was in a relationship or not. And this isn't a culture where people talk to each other very much in public.

My thoughts are that that it's likely I will see her there again, especially if she likes me as well. I plan to go regularly to the same shop and to see what happens.

Any thoughts would be welcome. What do you think?

Maybe I am asking (following some discussion with someone who said I should have asked her something) whether I should have done or said something here, and whether I am likely to have a chance to say so in future. Thanks!

This post was deleted for the following reason: Heya, this is a pretty chatfiltery "thoughts?" framing (which isn't really how AskMe is meant to work) and, I'm not sure if you're familiar with previous AskMes on the subject of chatting up women in public spaces, but this is unlikely to go the way you want it to. -- LobsterMitten
