Eep Opp Ork Ah Ah Remix?

Was there an episode of Yogi's Space Race (or some other Hanna Barbera property) that featured a remix of Eep Opp Ork Ah Ah?

So for years I've had a faint childhood media memory memory kicking around. In the past week, I've learned two things that make me think it might be solvable.

The Memory: Watching a cartoon. Probably some time in the 1988-1992 range. The memory involved a number of spaceships stopping at some sort of intergalactic disco. While there, there was a little musical number/dance sequence.

First Thing Learned: Yogi's Space Race is a thing. Any time I tried delving into this mystery I'd always get hung up on Wacky Races. Even though many of those characters looked familiar, I was positive my memory show took place in space. Once I discovered this show, I knew I was onto something.

Second Thing Learned: The song Eep Opp Ork Ah Ah is a thing. Now, this may be a case of retrofitting something in, but I'm gonna stick with it for now. The song in my memory sounds *nothing* like the version linked above from The Jetsons. But I can very easily fit the syllables into the song in my head, and it seems like it would make a lot of sense having a remix of this song on a Hanna Barbera show at a space disco?

So, here's what I'm looking for:

1. Yes, one time Yogi's Space Race stopped at an intergalactic disco and they danced to a remix of Eep Opp Ork Ah Ah. Here's a clip.

2. No, but one time Yogi's Space Race stopped at an intergalactic disco and danced to something else. Here's a clip.

3. No, but one time [different cartoon] stopped at an intergalactic disco and danced to Eep Opp Ork Ah Ah. Here's a clip.

4. No, but one time [different cartoon] stopped at an intergalactic disco and danced to something else. Here's a clip.

5. Go home, SpiffyRob.

Response by poster: Okay well I don't know how I missed this, but Galaxy Goof-Ups also seems promising?

The "Galaxy Goof-Ups" consisted of Yogi Bear, Huckleberry Hound, Scare Bear and Quack-Up as space patrolmen (under the leadership of Captain Snerdley) who always goofed-up (hence the name of the show) while on duty and spent most of their time in disco clubs.

So... I'm guessing it was that. But still very curious if there's an EOOAA remix!

Best answer: Great job Metafilter, you did it!

On a Yogi's Galaxy Goof-Ups episode titled Purloined Princess, the song heard at the discoteque was a disco version of the Jet Screamer hit, "Eep-Opp-Ork-Ah-Ah".

Best answer: Not gonna drop a link as the first few sites with a video seem a little sketch, but it's easily found and starts around 6:08. Yaaaaaay.

It was also later covered by The Violent Femmes.

Is "Eep Opp Ork Ah Ah" the one I remember as Alvin and the Chipmunks' "The Witchdoctor Song"?

Referenced in Soulflower by the Pharcyde.
