The Macworld Expo is upon us...

With Steve Jobs' keynote speech being made in less than 12 hours, I figured that it would be appropriate to have a question regarding Macworld 2006. Do you have any thoughts, predictions, ideas, or reactions (if after the speech)?

Also, as you might recall, I have decided to buy a 12" iBook to compliment (not replace) my current Windows laptop. After the announcement about the new iBook is made, I would be curious to hear whether you think I should go for the (assumedly) on-sale G4s, or shell out the additional cash for the new Intel G5s? What upgrades do you think would be necessary for my needs (aside from the obvious memory upgrade to 1gb)?

The G4 architecture is a dog. Avoid it at all costs. I am confused by what you mean unless you're looking at old Powermac G4s, but those are waaaaaaaay old and the new laptops won't be of the "G5" variety. Either way, go Intel, and/or go Powermac G5.
