Lemon-less love life

I am looking for good websites that sell sex toys online that I can trust.

The problem I am encountering is that there are thousands of sites, most of which strike me as less than exemplary. I have been looking for recommendations but it seems that most of those recommendations I have come across come from people with something to gain from advising me to shop at a specific location. The only community that I seem to trust with pretty much all matters is this one here, so I thought I might see what you all have to suggest to me.

I am hoping for a site that has good prices, discrete shipping, and a nice range of products. If someone also has very specific ideas about fantastic products, perhaps those could be included as well.

Good Vibrations is highly regarded.

I second Good Vibes. Fun to visit in person, too, if you're around SF. Very helpful.

http://womynsware.com/

They're the best. I've ordered from them and got exactly what I ordered, discretly, and quickly. Shipping's a tad pricey, but it was worth it as it came 2 days later (XpressPost in Canada). They have an awesome local reputation as well. I've seen the physical store, and its not sleezy in the slightest.

I have no affiliation with them whats so ever, except as a happy customer.

Response by poster: I've heard Toys in Babeland is excellent.

The last time I ordered from Condom Country I got a free Wet-N-Wild...

I've ordered things from Adam Eve before. A very reputable company, and the packages that come in the mail are very discreet.

You can buy sex toys from drugstore.com now, so you can get shampoo and a vibrator in one place!

I shop at Come As You Are. They ship to the US (if that's where you are) with discrete packaging. Items on your credit card are billed as CAYA Inc. and every product I have purchased here has been well-made, decently priced, and works great. Staff is really helpful and respond to email questions.

All of the above are excellent suggestions. You may also want to check out Slumber Parties. My friend Christina is a representative, and she is knowledgable, nice and not a con artist.

Have fun!

Mad props to A Woman's Touch in Madison, WI -- they do mail order and are very nice people.

Early to Bed in chicago. I'm at work so I'm not going to go looking for the website. Female focused, they really know their equipment there.

Amazon.com (disclosure: my employer) sells thousands of sex toys (SFGate article) in the Sex and Sensuality category, including items listed by Toys in Babeland.

I'm also a happy Toys in Babeland customer, although I've only shopped at their Seattle store (not online).

Xandria is another good discreet one, although there's nothing really, er, extreme there.

Just putting in a third vote for Good Vibrations. Both in person and by mail, it's really a trustworthy, lovely place. And it doesn't say "GOOD VIBRATIONS" on your credit card statement. It has some very generic sounding company name. If you're worried about that sort of thing.

Toys in Babeland (online), as above. Also, interestingly, I just a few minutes ago found this link for my supervisor Talk Sex With Sue Johanson: The Ultimate Shopping Guide DVD. (He's a big fan. Don't ask why we're talking about this at work.)

I'll 4th Toys in Babeland (as its the only one I've used), and their shipping is discreet (the label on the generic UPS label says something like "TIB" as its name.

Another vote for Good Vibrations; I've also always heard good things about Babeland and Blowfish.

I've heard good things about Toys in Babeland and Adam and Eve, but have personally only used the shop that I'm affiliated with. I purchase items from there frequently and I haven't had a bad experience yet. [/end shameless "self" promotion]

I know some of the people who are at www.mypleasure.com. I don't know anyone who's shopped there, but the people I know on staff are good folks, and I would trust them.

Just putting in another good word in for Good Vibes.

We're sort of a sex toy household. We've purchased tons of toys from various places and never had any issue at all, nevermind a substantial one or a scam. And all with fairly discrete shipping. So, I mean, I don't think it's that big of a deal, y'know?

If yer in the market for dildos I'm a big fan of the silicone Vixen Creations brand that Good Vibes carries. Liquid Silk is the world's bestest ever lube, comes in a super handy pump bottle(!), and is waterbased.

putting in a plug (haha) for the small business, i recommend the honeysuckle shop. it's run by a woman, mostly for women. it has a decent selection, good prices, and i've always been satisfied. i am not affiliated in any way, just a happy customer.

they are very discreet - plain brown packaging, all that.

Amazon note: Be careful when ordering through Amazon merchants that you're not familiar with -- if you're not buying from Amazon directly, you're probably better off with one of the major and more reputable sites above.

And I'll throw in a good word for Grand Opening in Boston -- I've only been in the (super friendly) store, but I'd be surprised if the online ordering experience wasn't just as good.

I've ordered a few items from them over the years, and I've been completely pleased with everything--speed of shipping (esp. if you choose other than standard), prices, ease of using the website. It comes in a white box with no logos, the From: address is something like "Sawhorse Enterprises," and the bills comes up as that, as well. I ordered from this website when I was in college, and I had no qualms about picking up the boxes at the college post office and carrying them across campus.

I'm reliably informed by those who know such things that Sh! (UK shop, ships internationally) is excellent - good range, plenty of tips and Q&As online, and they're always very happy to have you phone or email them for advice.

Early to Bed. And if you live in or near Chicago, the physical store is just wonderful.

I've ordered from JT'S Stockroom for over ten years now, and consider them completely trustworthy.

I've ordered from Womyn's Ware and have had no problems. I've heard good things about Babes in Toyland.

I am going to order a Hitachi Magic Wand one of these days, and will likely order it online.

Nothing to be embarrassed about; it's just easier to shop and surf for adult toys.

I love Toys in Babeland. Stuff I've ordered from Adam and Eve usually hasn't lasted a year before it broke. Granted these weren't the most expensive products but it was disappointing how fast the casing broke/the electronics gave out/etc. My stuff from Babeland never breaks.

I order from The Honeysuckle Shop. The owner gives great service and writes a nice (not strictly sex-oriented, but probably not safe for work) blog, complete with helpful answers to your sex toy questions.

Stefanie beat me to it! I second The Honeysuckle Shop - it's a family-owned business, and the service is terrific.

Gotta push the mighty Blowfish. Great products, knowledgeable staff, wonderful catalogs (online and off). Not always the cheapest, but we have spent a lot of money there and have always been 100% happy with everything.

Which reminds me, my wife's birthday is coming up again soon. Gotta go find the catalog and see what pages she's dogeared...

Pressed Rat-True that trust can't be bought;still Good Vibrations seems to have raised their young-uns up right proper. I have heard good of Smitten Kitten too.
