How can I stream Sherlock?

I'm in Canada. I can't seem to determine how I can stream Sherlock online Sunday night. I'm willing to pay. Amazon is offering it, but it's not clear if it'll be available as a live stream of the Masterpiece broadcast or later. To clarify - I want a legit stream at 9:00 PM EST, not some sort of bootleg or proxy method.

I don't have the answer your want, but often times, when the legitimate ways make watching stupid (like not airing the same night, or not working on my device) I pay for the legitimate item (Amazon or whatever) and actually steam it the method that works for me. It's not optimal, I'd rather do it all legally, but at least I'm paying, so that assuages some of my guilt.

And yes, I find Amazon has at least a one day delay.

Best answer: I generally avoid reddit, but they can be useful for this kind of thing. You might want to keep an eye on r/sherlock, in particular this recent thread.

You could also search tumblr. That's generally a good repository of information for this kind of thing.

Also, although I'm with you on wanting to stick with legitimate avenues, I also sometimes make allowances for something like this, where there's no legitimate option, when I know that I'll eventually purchase it legally as soon as it's available.

(I'm fortunate to live in the US, where PBS has finally come around to airing the episodes at the same time as the BBC.)

If you happen to have friends/family in the US who use comcast and have DVR, you may be able to watch it that way. I'm not sure if this is available to everyone in the US with Comcast DVR, but I do know that I'm able to access my DVR content and watch it online. I can also stream live broadcasts on channels that I have. Maybe this is an option? There may also be a way to watch on PBS if you subscribe or something, but that's more likely to be blocked outside of the US.

Unfortunately, I think you may not have a completely legitimate method to do this, since by design I think PBS/BBC is trying to limit who can watch the episode live, which I wish they didn't do.

I am pretty sure that Amazon, and Itunes if they have it, will have a delay of 24 hours or something like that.

When it comes to non-official sources, this Tumblr post From Mycrawft provides extensive possibilities.
