Who runs this Twitter profile?
There is a Twitter handle, Elliot Lusztig, whose source I am curious about. I've Googled this name but can't find much more than this Twitter profile. Is this profile run by a journalist or political analyst whose work is available under this name, or is it Elliot Lusztig an anonymous Twitter name?

I don't know either, but he's said he has a PhD from Harvard in political theory (thread).

It's an anon twitter name. I'm not going to dox the guy, but he's identified his wife by name on Twitter, and from there it wasn't hard to figure out the rest. He's truthful about Harvard.

He's chosen to be anonymous, though in the last few weeks he dropped a few hints about who he is, including a photo of himself. I was hoping he was a writer outside of Twitter but I don't believe he is. I closed my account a week ago and miss his commentary.

I've caught comments from him that reference being part of the UC school system, and his struggles with keeping politics out of his classroom. Other than that I have nothing, other than a similar curiosity.

He has closed his account at least three times in the past three months. He always reactivates it a few days later. Another part of his mystery.
