Help me maintain my terrible sleep habits

I just got an iPhone 7 plus and remembered OH YEAH, this thing doesn't have an audio jack anymore. That's a problem since I like to listen to movies on my phone while sleeping, and thus need to use the Lightning port to keep my phone charged. What is the best solution here? Is there some dongle that will give me power AND audio via the Lightning port at the same time? Are there bluetooth earbuds with >5 hours of battery life? Halp!

Bonus points for specific product recommendations, especially if this is going to require an investment into expensive wireless earbuds! I don't really like over-the-ear styles when I'm sleeping.

I'm pretty happy with my LG Tone Pro bluetooth headset -- IF you don't mind the neck dongle thing. The batteries last a solid 8 hours, sound quality is fine (I basically use them to watch tv/movies at night without risk of strangling a co-sleeping baby) and I paid less than $40 for them on Amazon.

AirPods are finally shipping. I got mine today and they work—and sound—great.

Belkin makes a $40 dongle.

Apple makes a $49 minimalist dock.

Very few things are as comfy as my in ear Bose bluetooth earphones. The sound is top notch. Bonus: excellent for use while awake and upright too.

I have these in my wish list. Purportedly have 8-12 hours of battery life.

(Also, they jacked the price up on the ones I linked above. Should be able to get them for significantly less post-holidays)

Best answer: I am obsessed with SleepPhones. They're very thin, flat bluetooth headphones in a soft headband. I wear them pretty much every night to sleep. I'm super sensitive to everything and they don't bother me at all. They're about $100 and worth every penny.

Bluetooth Jumbl Receiver + CozyPhones Sleep Headphones
You can charge the Jumbl and listen at the same time but it also has a good battery life.

It does have a flashing light that blinks every so often so I shove mine in a drawer. You could but it in a little baggie or put tape over it too. (ETA you can use Jumbl with any standard headphones. I just like the CozyPhones.)

If you are actually in bed/one location while listening, there are several radios/speakers with bluetooth. I've recommended the SoundFreaq SoundRise radio before. It has a bluetooth 'sleep mode' (so it goes silent via a timer), and a USB port to charge any device.

And I've used the SleepPhones / RunPhones too- they are comfortable and sound OK, but the controls are a bit odd IMHO

The best solution is to buy the $40 USB3 Camera Kit that Apple makes, and a $5 USB sound card. I use this setup to make music with my iPhone 7, and to listen to music with my big fat vintage open AKG cans.

I've been using the wired version of the SleepPhones with my older iPhone. I toss and turn in bed and I often sleep on my side with an ear smashed against the pillow. The SleepPhones are very flat and the headband holds them in place so they are quite comfortable and don't fall out. Now that I know (thanks radioamy), I plan to upgrade to the bluetooth version (and get rid of the annoying wire) when I upgrade my phone.

Response by poster: Thank you everyone! All of these answers are fantastic but I am marking the SleepPhones as my favorite because holy shit, that is a game-changer!

Game-changer, indeed! I have needed this product for so long and didn't even know it!

Belkin Lightning Audio + Charge Rockstar is basically a lightning port splitter so that you can listen and charge at the same time. $40.
