Looking to identify a French BD

Years ago (2011), I read a graphic novel in France that I would like to find again. It was in color, decently big in print size, and featured this white liquid that would create statues(?) as it dried in-motion. Someone dipped themselves into a pool of the liquid, jumped from a tall height, and behind them was a statue trail of them falling. Unfortunately that's all I can remember; does this ring any bells for anyone?

Best answer: There's something a little like that in Schuiten and Schuiten's palindromic NogegoN.

See this image, for example.

It reminds me of Scott McCloud's The Sculptor, which is not French. But it does feature a main character who can mold solids like liquid, and ****spoiler**** involves someone falling from a great height at the end.

Here's a page where the sculptor character is discovering what he can do.
