Happy Twitters!

I need some fun Twitter accounts to follow! Cartoons preferred....

I don't Tweet myself, but the all encompassing election 2016 threads made me aware that BLOOM COUNTY IS BACK and can be found on Twitter! So I follow Bloom County now and when I get an alert that there is something new it makes me feel warm and happy.

Any suggestions for other happy twitterers? I'm especially loving cartoons - I hadn't realized I'd missed the newspaper funnies that much.

@theawkwardyeti is fun - they do a comic called Heart & Brain. :D

Outside of comics, there are tons of accounts that post cute animals. @cuteoverload, @babyanimalpics, even species-specific ones like @shibsbot that posts pictures of Shiba Inu dogs.

Best answer: Let's see... Margo Maloo is a comic that just released the first book in September, and the tweets happen whenever a page is updated (not much recently due to book release and artist's family stuff) but is a fantastic comic about kids and monsters.

Isle of Elsi is a fantasy webcomic aimed at kids with dragons. It updates every week.

Tony Breed's twitter includes links to his regular comic strip called Muddlers Beat. It is very much Sunday Funnies-esque, and is heart-warming and silly and heart-breaking and has some great LGBT characters.

BOUMERIES is by a WAHM comics artist in Montreal, and her adventures with her kids and partner. These are cute and funny and silly, too.

SMBC (Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal) comics are funny and sarcastic.

@hellobigfoot, written in the voice of Bigfoot by Graham Roumieu. He has done several illustrated Bigfoot books in the same voice and they are all very entertaining. The twitter feed sometimes comes with drawings. Not quite comics, but extremely comics-adjacent.

Best answer: On the comics front - @Oatmeal and @PerryFellow are worth a follow.

@cuteoverload has been shut down for nearly a year, it's a drag.

Best answer: Liz Climo (@elclimo), Breaking Cat News (@breakingcatnews), and Scandinavia & World (@SatWcomic) for comics.

For mini-SFF stories, @MicroSFF is great.

@ZooBorns for baby animals.
